Ah BLOOD+, Saturday nights aren't the same without you~ ;o; Either way, pretty sweet ending, I was expecting something super depressing. Anyway here's some fanart of Mao & Okamura, two very unloved characters in BLOOD+! At first, I HATED Mao because she was such a brat and couldn't stop bitching about Kai, but I started to warm up to her once she gave up on Kai. Besides her and Okamura make quite the duo, in my opinion~
But enough of that, overall I'm a little upset with how this came out. It looks like Mardi Gras had an hangover and puked all over Okamura's shirt. Not to mention, it looks too much like his skin color for some reason, so I'm a little nervous how the shirt is going to look on some lower resolution monitors. The proportions are also TERRIBLE, they looked fine in the sketch so yeh... I feel bad for Mao and her big head and the fact that Okamura looks like he has giant syndrome or something. *sob* The coloring came out okay but could've been better, I guess I'm a little rusty or I'm too picky with myself. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I'm glad you like it sis! I do agree with you that this looks a lot better in real life. Even with the scanner settings adjusted, the color looks a little faded, which is a shame. *sob*
